never finished

I was very disappointed in this book. I had read several reviews about both the book and the author. I very rarely read books based on reviews. This is not because I am some sort of snob regarding these things, but that I do not seek out reviews when looking for a new book. But, regardless, as I read the little I could handle I was constantly reminded of the Kids in the Hall sketch about "I can't stop thinking about Tony. Wondering where he could be, who he is with, what is he thinking, is he thinking of me, and whether he'll ever return someday."

Maybe it is just me. But, the guy killed himself and eventually we are led to believe you will understand why. But did I need four chapters of her asking the same "I can't stop thinking about Tony. Wondering where he could be, who he is with, what is he thinking, is he thinking of me, and whether he'll ever return someday." question over and over?
